Overview

The Talent Acquisition Administrator will provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Team. This position is responsible for the efficient and accurate completion of administrative tasks in a variety of systems.

 

*This role is a temporary, full-time position with a projected end date of August 2026*

SCHEDULE:

  • This position is Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with a 30-minute lunch break 

WORK DESIGNATION

  • Remote (must work within San Diego County Region)
    • One in-person meeting per month within the greater San Diego area
    • Please note that the work designation may change based on business needs.

PROGRAM SUMMARY:

 

YMCA Expanded Learning Programs offer a safe, engaging space where kids can learn, grow, and explore beyond the school day. Serving over 90 schools across San Diego County, we provide high-quality before and after school programs, along with fun intersession opportunities, all thoughtfully designed to support academic, emotional, and physical development.

 

In partnership with local vendors, artists, and educators, our programs feature a wide variety of hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, inspire creativity, and help students discover new skills, interests, and potential career paths.

Responsibilities

  • Support Talent Acquisition Team in administrative duties throughout recruitment process
  • Provide administrative assistance to teammates during peak seasons
  • Track and record progress of candidates through recruitment process
  • Send, receive and act on communications with candidates to support candidate progression
  • Collect necessary documentation to place internal and external candidates
  • Assist applicants with basic troubleshooting of job board and application process
  • Represent the YMCA at community events, such as job fairs, tabling and other candidate engagement events
  • Other duties as assigned

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position occasionally requires travel throughout San Diego County.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months of administrative experience
  • iCIMS experience preferred
  • Trello experience preferred
  • Previous Talent Acquisition experience preferred

JOB COMPETENCIES:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple daily tasks for timely completion
  • Ability to work autonomously in a proactive manner with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail with minimal errors in record keeping to ensure accurate data

PRE-HIRE CONTINGENCIES:

  • Licensing, state law and our government funders are required that all staff (hybrid, remote, or onsite) within YMCA San Diego County are fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and include subsequent arrest notifications. 
  • Position will require additional clearances in order to comply with all program, licensing, state law, and funding requirements:  
    • Exclusion and Debarment checks prior to first day and monthly thereafter

Pay Range

USD $19.69 - USD $23.63 /Hr.
