The Residential Supervisor demands vigilance while handling diverse tasks. It plays a vital role in promoting self sufficiency among participants by providing participant services tailored to their identified needs and aligned with the residential program's objectives. In addition to conducting client screenings, this role involves overseeing case planning, supervision, and coordinating activities for residents and visitors, ensuring the maintenance of a safe, clean, and nurturing living environment. The Residential Supervisor supports participants through a human centered and trauma informed approach, in addition they are engaging, culturally responsive and aware of the diverse needs of various cultures, races, ethnicities and populations.

PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The Joint Transitional Housing - Rapid Rehousing program, for youth ages 18-24, will provide up to 24 months of housing/subsidized rental assistance in the location of the youth’s choosing, encouraging youth choice. JTHRRH moves youth forward on the continuum with supportive services and intensive case management in a more independent setting.
During JTRRH, youth may receive intensive case management and services to help them to independence, and will have access to on-site workshops, counseling, and employment support, and programs including: 3E (education, employment, and entrepreneurialism, on-site); Family Functioning (stabilize youth and reunite with family if safe and appropriate, on-site); family finding (connect youth to supports, on-site); mental and behavioral counseling (on-site and off-site); and access to YMCA’s recreational branches (off-site). All youth may be assessed for basic needs and can choose to receive food, clothing, hygiene products, and transportation assistance to move toward independence and self-sufficiency.
