Waterfront Lifeguard Carry out the responsibilities of a Waterfront Lifeguard throughout the applicable program season. For Waterfront Lifeguard; successful in the completion of all aspects of certification in Lifeguard w/ waterfront module, CPR (BLS), ASHI Advanced First Aid, and passing (2) monthly in-services per month specific to physical ability and waterfront rescue & first aide/CPR knowledge.

Master Swim Coach Under the direction of the Aquatics Director, the Master Swim Coach is responsible for the administration, coordination, and implementation of the Master Swim Workouts. Will instruct participants in accordance with the YMCA of San Diego guidelines and U.S.A. Swimming Guidelines to ensure the safety of participants and use good judgement in decision making or in potentially hazardous situations.  

Aquatics Coordinator Under the Aquatics Director, the Coordinator- Aquatics is responsible to maintain a safe aquatic environment. In the absence of the Aquatic Director, the Aquatics Coordinator will supervise staff, maintain facility operations, assist in the administrative duties of the Aquatics Department, instruct swimming lessons and lifeguard to ensure the safety of members and participants. Provide excellent customer service to members and participants.  

The Program Coordinator provides outstanding customer service, guidance, and leadership to all members and participants within the scope of the program of oversight. The Coordinator is reserved for a small branch or single program/department with oversight to multiple programs/departments simultaneously.
